Fr. Ben's Ordination!

The day started out beautifully!  The weather was perfect, the grass was green, everyone was happy, and Dad was on his game - doing his best to be the "Provocateur".

We had time for a couple pictures outside.

Marlee was overcome with joy when she got a hug from newly ordained Fr. Ben!

Fr. Ben is the same as always.  He was asking us if we thought his first blessing on us worked.

We all listened attentively.

The bishop proceeded to give Fr. Ben all of his formal documents.

And he remarked that only Fr. Ben would be having a pig roast the following day.  Of course, Fr. Ben invited him to come along.

We had to get our picture with him!

And Tom proceeded to tell him how much he loves being married.

Then we headed to Red Lobster where Marlee kept things exciting as usual.

While we were just excited to eat.

Dad hijacked Marlee's "bling" shades.

Marlee, Tom, and I had a great ride home in the car.

We were trying some poses for magazines.  Marlee informed me that it doesn't work if I look right at the camera.

I guess only those two will be able to make appearances in magazines.  It just didn't work for me.

When Marlee got bored with that she decided to have me do a photo shoot of her outside our sun roof.

Tom tried to stay focused with all the action going on around him.

Overall it was a great day today.  We're looking forward to a lot of fun tomorrow.  We have the pig roast from 12-2pm, then Fr. Ben's first Mass at 4:00, followed by a bonfire at our house.  I'll get some pictures of those things up asap!
