On the Road Again
Well, we survived our trip to the UP and had a great time with all of the family. It was cold in the apartment when we got home so neither of us slept that well the first night. We're going to bed early tonight because Tom has a big day tomorrow. He has to drive all the way back up to St. Ignace with a body. He's meeting a funeral director from Calumet and they'll do the trade-off there. I'm sure that will be an interesting sight for the passers-by. I'm going to go to school as usual. Tom's brother, Paul, stopped over tonight after work and brought some hot chocolate and visited with us for a while. That was nice. We tried to call Grandma Alberti several times but her line was always busy so you guys must have all been on the phone!!! We finally got through to her and Tom poured on the charm as always. Dad and I will be going to bed early...we are worn out. Joe and Mary Ellen got off about one and it took us about 3 hour to get home so its been a long day.
